This module is $65 per person and part of the Gifted and Talented Online Professional Learning Series. It can be completed as a stand-alone module or as part of the series. An overview of the basics of understanding gifted and talented students. We will explore the definitions of 'giftedness' and 'talent', including Gagne's DMGT model and examine the characteristics of gifted students, including how they learn, develop and thrive. We will also look at their complexities and quirks, and the possible impact of these on their learning, development and wellbeing, including introducing local and international resources you can access for further information and research. If you are a teacher or parent who is new to the world of gifted and talented, this module is the place to start!

This online module is $65 per person (To register 5 or more people at a discounted rate, please email admin@growingupgreatness.com). After you confirm your purchase, you will receive an email with a link to download information to access the module.

This module is approximately 2 hours in length (including video content, workbook, discussion webinar and additional resources). The webinar for this online module is held approximately once per term at either 9.30am or 3:30 (AWST). Register and sign-in online to see alternate date options. Attendance at the webinar is not compulsory and you can complete alternative options whenever you choose, in order to receive a certificate of completion.
